Google G Suite (Formerly Google Apps for Business)
G Suite is a group of applications from Google that allows for editing, sharing and storing of documents and spreadsheets. These applications can help Rotary clubs and Districts provide efficient ways to communicate with members, create surveys and sign up forms, create and store Club or District documents and more
The course will be offered in several parts. Each one will cover one or more of the applications.
The first session will be held on October 18th 1 to 3 pm at the Cedar Falls Library. It will also be available online as a webinar.
The audience for the course is:
- Club officers, president, secretary etc.
- Committee chairs
- Any Rotarian interested in learning any of the Google Applications
Course skill level: Beginner to Intermediate. No prior computer experience is necessary
The first section will cover:
- Introduction to G Suites
- Using Google Email (Gmail)
- Introduction to Google Docs
- Document Sharing (time permitting)
Prerequisites for the course:
- Computer
- Internet access
- Google Chrome installed on the computer
- G Suite or standard gmail account
