November, 2019

Greetings, District 5970!

Winter is on its way, which means the busyness of the holiday season is just around the corner.

Amid the hustle and bustle, it’s vital to pause and consider your work-life-volunteer balance. Rotarians are known for pitching in, helping out, and giving our all. But we must always remember that to drive positive change, we must also take care of ourselves and our loved ones.

This month, I encourage you to consider your passions as you sign up for volunteer opportunities – or choose to sit out a few. Rotary cannot exist without engaged, happy, volunteers like you. And we want you to stay that way!

Watch your inbox this winter for more tips to volunteer without overdoing it, plus ideas to encourage new members to give Rotary a try. Enjoy your holiday season!

November is Foundation month

As most of you know, the Rotary Foundation is near and dear to my heart. I was honored to serve as your District Foundation chair for 3 ½ years before being your District Governor. We need your donations to Do Good in the World through our Foundation.  Make a donation this month or sign up for Rotary Direct for a recurring donation at Rotary Direct Together, we make a difference in the World.
